From San Diego, CA., Home of The New California Sound, Ghosts of the Track songs are stories based in a freedom of the wind. The roots rock lyrical style, emotional melodies and catchy hooks will make you feel like you’ve heard the music your whole life, causing you to experience the music in a deeper way.
The Kim Fowley Sessions inspired 2 songs off our album “Mountains in the Street” – “Border City” and “Wierd Everywhere” – Kim Fowley was manager for the band “The Runaways” (Joan Jett, Sandy West, Micki Steele, Cherie Currie, Lita Ford, Vickie Blue, Jackie Fox, & Laurie McAllister). We’re excited about our debut album, and to bring Kim Fowley’s legendary inspiration into the mix. Thank You Kim. R.I.P.

Steven James Fox – GHOST (Guitars, Harmonica, Resonator, Mandolin, Vocals, Percussion, Keys, Jaw Harps, Producer, Engineer, & Sound) – Member of ASCAP.
Having played up and down the coast of California, in Canada, Las Vegas and Japan, Steven has worked with such names as Kim Fowley (Talked about in the movie “The Runaways”), and had a rare opportunity to play with Buddy Miles (Jimi Hendrix’s drummer for a brief time), & The Electric Boys. He has also done engineer & mastering work for the band, “The Monroes,” who had a hit song with “What Do All The People Know.”

Martin Lee Black – McFly (Bass Guitars, Vocals, Writing Partner) – Member of ASCAP.
Having played on both coasts and many places in between with bands such as Tempest and Brontosaurus, Martin brings a love for progressive rock to the band (especially Rush & Yes). “Songwriting is something that is alive that I have found again. Like an old friend.”

Jay Berger – Jaybird (Guitars, Blues Harps & Writing Partner) – Member of ASCAP.
Growing up and playing in clubs like The Bitter End and CBGB in New York with bands, “The Connections” & “The Muttniks,” made Jay prime and ready for Ghosts of the Track. A lefty that plays right couldn’t be sweeter. A great Bluesman, Jay has an uncanny ability to walk into a room and come up with incredible hooks.

Robert Goldenberg DDS – Dr. Bob (Drums, Vocals, Percussion & Writing Partner) – Member of ASCAP.
Robert Goldenberg DDS aka “Dr. Bob” has been playing drums since he was 13 years old. Beginning with seminars from Joe Morello and Buddy Rich, playing in a championship drum corps and more recently having private lessons from Slayer drummer Jon Dette, Dr. Bob & Steven have been writing and playing together for years. Says Steven, “With Dr. Bob’s versatility, it’s a dream come true to have my friend be part of Ghosts of the Track.”
